Switching to a new Bujo
Jan. 19th, 2018 05:51 pmMy old one that I am retiring:

I like my bujo and have pages left over. I have good feelings towards it, partially due to the stickers. They remind me of the good things I've done like cider tastings, outdoorsy stuff and Imzy. I've been using this book since mid-2016, tho. A lot of bad things happened in my life late 2016, and a few months ago I was out of commission from a car accident. So, the inside is filled with weeks of nothing done, projects never done, some projects that now will never be done, doodles that I know were in response to Bad Things, etc. When I am actually working on the book, flipping through pages, looking over all that isn't great.
So, I decided to start fresh with a new one. I am staying with a Rhodia square reverse book. I really like their products. I have fresh covers to sticker up with things I've done. All that is on my new one so far is my Trailkeepers of Oregon sticker. I hope to be doing trail repair work with them in the spring, and in any case supporting them in the wake of fires that have badly damaged Oregon trail systems.
Having a new book feels very encouraging. It's not a fresh start because I can't unmake the past, but I think I will do better feeling like I have a new chapter and lots of cover-sticker-space. I wont be looking at massively de-motivating things every time I work on my bujo.
