We're starting a new month and for many people, new months mean new beginnings. It's arbitrary, but there's something about seeing that 1 on the calendar, right?
So let's turn to our bujos. Are you trying anything new in February?
Maybe you're getting a new journal. Or do you want to try out that new fountain pen? Perhaps you've decided to experiment with a habit tracker. Or are you beginning a bujo for the very first time ever?
Whatever it is, let's talk about it here. Go!

Packing a lunch is really irritating if you don't have somewhere to keep it cool and then somewhere to heat it up. Cold food that isn't supposed to be cold is not very appetizing.

Date: 2017-02-03 01:24 am (UTC)I think I ended up good at saving money from growing up poor, lol. There have certainly been months I spent more than I made, like when I bought a new couch and bed and mattress on the same day.
I travel for work. Not long distances, but around town, so I have no refrigeration or way to heat something, which limits a lot of options. I don't think I could eat PB&J everyday. Luckily I go home for lunch sometimes, but Subway and a local coffee shop are my usual choices. My aunt actually has a cooling lunch bag she said keeps her food cold as well as a fridge until lunchtime, so maybe I'll look into that more.

Date: 2017-02-03 01:27 am (UTC)I have a bunch of dietary issues that I just found out about, so my problem now is that a lot of the food I would normally have eaten cold like most fruit and sandwich stuff isn't possible for me to eat anymore.

I frequently will buy a fruit tray or veggie tray at the grocery store that's meant to be a party tray and use it to pack my lunch for the week because it makes it easier than buying the fruits and veggies, then cutting them up.

Date: 2017-02-03 01:43 am (UTC)I wouldn't want to eat in my car either.
Fruit and veggie trays are a good idea.
I can't eat them anymore, but I love those lunch size hummus packs. Cheese and nuts are good additions as well.

Date: 2017-02-03 01:49 am (UTC)Mmmmm, I love hummus. It's one of the few things I do make an effort to pack when I can. I have little mason jars in perfect dip container sizes and pop it in a bigger mason jar of veggies for lunch when I'm in my office and do have a fridge. I'll have to look in store for the lunch sizes.
